The DoorCom® 2-way wireless intercom helps maintain security protocols while increasing worker efficiency. DoorCom long-range wireless technology provides a means for visitors or employees to communicate from the outside of a locked door to radio-equipped* staff inside the facility. Workers can stay focused and productive until they receive the call with a unique call-tone. Wasted time is reduced while deliveries and pick-ups are handled more quickly.
The fixed-location radio talks to your portable radios and has a range of approximately 350,000 square feet (actual range depends on building structure and topography). DoorCom® is ideal for installation at delivery or receiving doors, employee entrance, lobby area, will-call/pick-up, loading dock, even on the factory floor.
DoorCom fixed-location radio is compatible with virtually any other analog, VHF or UHF business band 2-way radio. Models available are: VHF MURS License-Free business use only frequencies, the licensed-required VHF, 150-165MHz and UHF, 450-470MHz business frequency bands.
*The DoorCom system consists of 1 fixed-location radio (mounts inside) with 1 hard-wire connected, heavy-duty remote speaker/microphone (mounts outside). You must have at least 1 additional companion 2-way radio (not included) to have a basic working system. Ritron offers a variety of compatible portable 2-way radios and desk-top base station radios.
DoorCom® is Designed and Made in the USA.
High Performance
Narrowband analog wireless technology delivers superior signal penetration and radio coverage in and around buildings. Provides reliable 2-way voice communication in demanding applications when you need it. PC Programmable to "custom" frequencies or radio repeaters with Ritron software.
Radio Compatibility
DoorCom wireless technology is compatible with virtually any other analog licensed VHF or UHF business band two-way radio, or License-Free VHF MURS radio. Ritron offers a variety of other compatible portable 2-way radios and desk-top base station radios.
Two-Part System
The system consists of 1 radio transceiver and 1 heavy-duty, stainless-steel, remote speaker microphone assembly. The heavy-duty remote speaker/mic assembly is typically mounted on the outside of the building, while the radio transceiver, the antenna and AC adapter are installed indoors. The radio and remote speaker/mic assembly is connected with a heavy duty, 20ft. long, connecting cable. A 110V AC adapter is used to power the radio.
Flexible Multi-Mode Operation
Call Box Mode: Prevents eavesdropping at the speaker. Speaker turns OFF after a period of inactivity.
Always-On Mode: Incoming radio calls are always heard on the speaker. Ideal for warehouse and factory floor applications.
Alerting Tone
A unique call tone is sent each time a new call is initiated from the DoorCom. The alert tone differentiates a "DoorCom" call from any other 2-way radio call.
Simple-To-Install
One 20ft. long cable easily connects the radio to the rugged, stainless steel and weatherized intercom box. The radio is powered by the included 110V AC adapter.
